Warm weekend followed by a frigid beginning of the week

Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be warm with temperatures reaching near 40 degrees before a sharp drop comes Tuesday.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, temperatures for Saturday could reach 40 degrees with Sunday reaching the mid 30 degree range.

A slight temperature drop Monday is expected to bring some snow accumulation with up to four inches falling between late night Sunday and Monday afternoon before the frigid temperatures hit.

Tuesday is the start of some serious cold, high temperatures will only reach two degrees with wind chills expected in the negative 15 degree area. Wednesday gets no better with a high temperature of zero and a low of negative ten. 

After Wednesday normal temperatures are expected for the area.
