Warm Weather this Weekend, Possible Snow Early Next Week

March 02, 2018 09:38 AM

It will feel a lot like spring this weekend.

But KSTP's Ken Barlow said winter weather could be making a return early next week.

Barlow said the forecast for Friday in the Twin Cities is mild with increasing clouds and a high of 42 degrees. Conditions overnight are expected to be mostly cloudy with a low of 30.

The high could rise all the way to 48 with a mix of clouds and sun on Saturday. And the high Sunday is expected to be 47, though Barlow's forecast calls for developing rain.

The rain continues Monday when Barlow said things will start to cool off.  The high Monday is expected to be 38 during the day, but the rain could change to snow overnight.

And that snow is expected to continue into Tuesday when some accumulation is possible. The high is expected to be only 30.
