Warm, Humid Weekend Expected

Minnesotans can expect a warm, sticky morning Saturday, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Dahl said dew points on Saturday are expected to reach the 70 degree mark, with the actual temperature around 70 degrees as well.

Temperatures are expected to reach 89 degrees by the afternoon, which Dahl said is close to the record for this time of year. 

Because of the warm conditions Saturday, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference changed the start time for football and soccer games.

Dahl said Sunday is expected to be warm as well, with temperatures reaching the highs 80s. 

Thunderstorms are expected over the weekend, however, they are expected to remain in the northern part of the state, according to Dahl.
