Storms could be on the way Thursday

Showers and thunderstorms are possible in the Twin Cities Thursday.

And KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair said some may be severe.

Clair said the strongest storms in the metro are possible beginning mid-morning Thursday and lasting into the afternoon.

A high of 85 degrees is expected, starting a warmup expected to continue Friday, Saturday and Sunday - when highs of 90, 93 and 92 are forecast respectively.
