Temps to Remain Below Average Sunday, Monday

Temperatures in the Twin Cities are expected to remain low the next few days, staying below the average for this time of year, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.

Sunday is expected to be sunny, with temperatures reaching a high of 19 degrees.


Temperatures are expected to remain in the teens again Sunday.

Mitchell said temperatures have yet to rise above average during the month of February. The average temperature for this time of year is 27 degrees.

Temperatures could get close to the average Tuesday, reaching 25 degrees, according to Mitchell. Wednesday is expected to warm up, with temperatures reaching the upper 30s.
