The temperature will get up into the mid 60's this Mother's Day with a light wind from the Southeast say's KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.
The sun will be poking through here and there as it's looking to be only partly cloudy throughout the day in the Twin Cities.
The week ahead is looking to bring much warmer temperatures with the forecast predicting 80 degrees by Thursday for the metro area. Northern Minnesota will continue to stay slightly cooler than the rest of the state.
