Thursday kicks off a cold wave

April 24, 2019 09:45 PM

It may not quite be summer yet, but signs of summer were upon us.

Wednesday featured temperatures in the low and mid-70's. And Thursday will see a weak cool front moving in, which will begin our cool-down into the weekend, KSTP's Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl predicts.

It’s going to be a slow drop at first, before much cooler air moves in on Saturday.

The initial push of cool air could touch off a few scattered showers later tonight, but temperatures should still reach the upper 60s Thursday. Thursday night another push of even cooler air is expected to move in with highs dropping into the upper 50s to around 60 Friday.
