Storms, showers likely over next several days

June 20, 2019 09:34 PM

Storms made their way across the state Thursday evening, and there will be more of the same through the weekend, KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said.

On and off showers and thunderstorms will continue to move through the Twin Cities, most of the state and western Wisconsin all the way through Monday.

Yuhas said the best chances for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and hail will stay mainly into far western Minnesota and along the Iowa border.

For Friday and through Monday, temps will top out in the mid-70s.

The rainy pattern will finally break Tuesday when temps return to the 80s, bringing more sunshine and higher humidity, too. Yuhas also said some overnight storms will be possible at times by Tuesday, as well.
