Some thunderstorms are expected to arrive by early morning Wednesday, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.
Dahl said the storms will hit the west suburbs around 5:30 a.m., moving into the metro area shortly thereafter. The storms will extend from Brainerd to the Iowa border. Once the storms pass, the rest of the day should be mostly dry until some scattered showers arrive later in the evening hours.
The high on Wednesday will be 82 degrees in the Twin Cities.
Dahl advises for those to grab an umbrella on Thursday, as a chance for an isolated shower is possible. Rain will continue throughout the week into the weekend, with temperatures dropping into the low 70s and high 60s.
