Temperatures Expected to Rise Moving Into the Weekend

After plenty of cloud cover during the past week, KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said temperatures are expected to rise as the sun is expected to peek out over the weekend. 

Dahl said the sunshine should help bring temperatures back to average.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach 83 degrees. They'll hit the 80s again during the day on Sunday. 

Dahl said most of the state is expected to stay dry over the weekend, however, some isolated storms could pop up.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the 80s through the beginning of the week, spiking at 90 by Thursday.
