Twin Cities residents are going to want to bundle up Thursday. KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said much colder weather is on the way.

According to Dahl, it's going to feel like single-digit temperatures Thursday morning. The high will be 16 degrees around noon, and temperatures will start to drop again after that.

There will be some sunshine Thursday, though.

Early Friday, temperatures could go below zero, Dahl said. The Twin Cities should reach 18 degrees by Friday afternoon.

Over the weekend, temperatures are expected to be in the low-to-mid 20s, with some flurries possible.
