Sunshine to start off Thursday, some rain expected later

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl recommends those out in the sun for a lengthy amount of time Thursday to wear some sunscreen.

Dahl adds it will take about 35 minutes to sunburn otherwise.


Sunshine and clouds will fill the sky for the majority of the day Thursday. Some rain is expected later on during the evening hours.

The high on Thursday will be 78 degrees.

Showers are expected to move in Thursday night and have the potential of lasting through the morning hours Friday, according to Dahl. 

The weekend features plenty of sunshine and highs back into the 80s.
