Sunny, Humid Thursday with Chance for Isolated Storm

August 16, 2018 06:13 AM

Thursday in the metro area is expected to be mostly sunny and humid.

KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said that sunshine could be replaced by clouds in the afternoon, stating there could be a chance of an isolated thunderstorm.

Barlow said the chance of rain increases south of the metro Thursday.

Looking ahead, Barlow said low dew points Friday means the air is expected to be more comfortable.

Then, although temperatures could near 90 degrees in the state Saturday, Barlow said dew points aren't expected to rise significantly, meaning humidity won't be as much of a concern.
