Another sunny May day lies in store in the Twin Cities.
KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said it should be sunny and warm with a high near 80 degrees.
More of the same awaits Wednesday when Barlow said it will be mostly sunny with a high of 84.
An isolated thunderstorm is possible Thursday, but the high should remain around 80. Barlow said scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday with a high of 78.

Some leftover showers could linger into the weekend.
Barlow's forecast for Saturday calls for mainly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high of 67. But the sun should return Sunday when the high is expected to be near 70.
