For those traveling this holiday weekend, the weather is expected to cooperate in a pleasant way.

A recent warm front will stick around this weekend, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Dahl advises to keep sunscreen within reach, as plenty of sunshine will fill the skies beginning Saturday. The high in the Twin Cities will be 73.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler in northern Minnesota, with highs in the 60s.

Sunday will feature more of the same, however it will be slightly less breezy, according to Dahl. Then on Monday, Dahl says storms will roll in and soak up the majority of Memorial Day.

Scattered storms are expected to hang around through the middle of next week.
