Sunny, dry Friday sets up what looks to be a beautiful weekend

After a beautiful start to the 2019 Minnesota State Fair, Friday's weather looks to be just as gorgeous.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said temperatures will again rise into the upper 70s on Friday, with plenty of sunshine once again.

A high-pressure system means the day again looks like it'll be dry, and it'll stay that way for the majority of the weekend, too.

Dahl said Saturday and Sunday will also have highs in the upper 70s, with storms likely to return Sunday night into the overnight hours.

If you're planning on heading to the fair or another outdoor event this weekend, it looks like you'll have great weather for it.
