Strong Storms, Tornadoes Possible Thursday

Thursday's forecast calls for more storms, some of them severe, and potentially even a tornado in southern Minnesota.

Showers and thunderstorms are probable in the Twin Cities and further south throughout the day, but the severe weather isn't expected until the afternoon and into the evening.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said the storms could bring hail, damaging winds and possibly even a tornado or two.

The high Thursday will be 72 degrees.

Things cool down Friday, with a high of only 63 expected, then warm back up into the 70s for the weekend.
