Showers and storms will give the Twin Cities an unusually cool day Thursday.
KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said showers will develop Thursday morning and continue into the afternoon and evening. The high is expected to be 73 - quite the drop from the recent hot and humid weather.
Friday morning will look much like Thursday, with early showers expected. After the rain moves out, the Twin Cities is looking at some sunshine and a high of 75.
The weekend will bring a warmup, with temperatures in the low 80s and sunshine expected.
