Storms possible over the weekend

June 14, 2019 10:24 PM

Storms are possible throughout the upcoming weekend, but there looks to be some time to enjoy outdoor activities.

KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair said rain is expected both Saturday and Sunday, particularly in the morning and evening hours.

Some showers are likely in the morning Saturday and again in the afternoon, which will hold the high temps down in the low 70s.

On Father's Day, there's another good chance for storms in the morning, with more cloudy conditions expected in the afternoon and high temps again in the low 70s.

So, if you can, enjoy the breaks between the showers this weekend.

Looking at next week, the weather remains a little unsettled with more storms possible, but Tuesday looks to be the best day so far.
