KSTP meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas forecasts a mix of clouds and sun this morning with scattered storms throughout the day.

Some storms could be severe in the afternoon hours, with the greatest chance for severe storms coming between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. just south of the metro. The chance for storms is 90%.

A mild but muggy 74 degrees accompanies the storms with winds coming from the east at 10 to 15 mph.

Into the evening storms continue and the temperature will drop as low as 60 degrees before heading into Sunday
