Snow Returns to Northern Minnesota

Snow has returned to Northern Minnesota.

The National Weather Service in Duluth reported a light snow was continuing to fall in the Iron Range and Arrowhead regions Friday morning.

KSTP: Temperatures Around the State

The snow began overnight, and the NWS said another inch of accumulation was expected in the Arrowhead Friday.

The NWS reported snowfall totals of as much as three inches in Sea Gull Lake, McKinley and Payne. Two-and-a-half inches were reported at Snow Bank Lake. A total of 2.2 inches was reported at Babbitt. Locations in Cook, Grand Portage and Coleraine all reported tw inches.

Duluth TV station WDIO's forecast for the region Friday calls for rain showers with snow mixing in at times in the morning.
