Slick spots possible Friday morning, but sunny, dry weather returns

Spots will be icy Friday morning, as temperatures fall overnight and some light snow showers are possible.

While the temps fall slightly compared to the past few days, the tradeoff is we'll be mainly dry through the weekend and into next week, KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair says.


Clair says Friday will get up to 35 degrees, and highs will stay in the mid-30s through the weekend, and we'll see much more sunshine.

Winds will stay mainly between 10-20 mph Friday. Lows will drop into the teens at night and feel chilly, but overall not bad as we start to dry out a bit. 

Clair also says 40s could return next week.
