After a beautiful Wednesday, the weather starts to get worse Thursday.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said showers are possible after midnight, with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms likely throughout the day Thursday.

Dahl said we'll still be in the warm sector of the storm system for the most of Thursday, and highs should still reach the mid-60s, but then it really drops off starting Friday.

Colder air moves end to end the work week, bringing chances for rain, snow and a rain/snow mix late Friday through the weekend. Highs Friday through Sunday are all in the low 40s, so it won't be a very pleasant weekend to be outside.
