Storms Stick Around the Metro Friday

Friday morning is expected to be breezy with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said those on-and-off storms are expected to stick around through the day Friday.

Although the sun could peek through the clouds in the afternoon, an increased chance for storms is expected again between 4 and 8 p.m., Yuhas said.

The high Friday is expected to be 78 degrees.

Weather this weekend is expected to be mostly sunny and warm, with temperatures in the low- to mid-80s.

Yuhas said the next chance for potential storms could be Monday afternoon.
