Although Tuesday is expected to have fewer periods of rainfall, rain will still make an appearance in the metro Tuesday.
KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said showers and possible thunderstorms are expected in the morning before a partly cloudy afternoon. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s.
Barlow said Wednesday is expected to be drier, with a high temperature of 83.
Looking ahead, Barlow said rain could return Friday but that the rest of the week and weekend will be mostly dry and sunny.
