Fewer Clouds, More Sun on Sunday

May 19, 2018 10:29 PM

After a heavy cloud cover and cooler temperatures Saturday, Sunday will feature highs in the low 70s with decreasing clouds, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.

Saturday's highs reached 72 degrees, which ended up being warmer than originally planned.

Overnight will bring temperatures to the high 40s, making a chilly, spring-like night.

Mitchell says the clouds will decrease over the course of the day Sunday, creating milder temperatures with the sunshine peaking through.

Highs Sunday will be around 70 degrees in the Metro, which is one degree off the average (71).

Monday will bring a chance for some spotty showers, with rain being relevant for most of the upcoming week.
