Partially Sunny Weekend Expected after Week of Rain, Some Flurries

October 12, 2018 06:16 AM

Although northern Minn. saw its first snow Thursday and the metro was cold with a few flurries, Ken Barlow says there will be sun this weekend.

On Friday, Barlow said the sky in the metro will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be in the mid-40s.

With a lighter wind and slightly higher temperatures, Friday will feel warmer than recent days this week.

Barlow said partial sunshine is expected Saturday and temperatures will be in the low 50s.

Then, a brisk wind will move into the state Sunday, dropping temperatures back into the low 40s. Sunday is also expected to be partially sunny, Barlow said.
