Overnight precipitation could make for a messy commute Friday morning.
KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said snow and rain will hit the Twin Cities, moving past the area after midnight. The sleet will slicken the roads, potentially making travel difficult.
There's another chance for snow in the metro Friday evening, hitting right around the evening commute, Dahl said. By Saturday morning, the Twin Cities could see around 3 inches of snow.
The high Friday will be 35.
Saturday looks to be chilly and windy, with a high of 26.
