On-and-Off Showers Monday in the Twin Cities

June 18, 2018 05:22 AM

Monday morning was a wet, humid start to the work week, with on-and-off showers in the Twin Cities.

KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said the rain is expected to move out of the metro area by the afternoon although the humidity was expected to continue.

After a dry afternoon, Barlow said showers are expected to return Monday night.

Looking ahead, Barlow said rain and the occasional thunderstorm are possible Tuesday and Thursday. Those storms are not expected to be severe, Barlow said.

Temperatures this week are expected to be in the high-70s to low-80s range.
