NWS: 10 Tornadoes Confirmed from Thursday Storms

The National Weather Service has confirmed at least 10 tornadoes touched down in southern Minnesota after storms went through the area Thursday night. 

The total comes after a number of surveys were done in the area.

The total was updated by the NWS Saturday. 

The NWS confirmed tornadoes west of Ceylon, in Granada, northwest of Janesville, in Morristown, northwest of Faribault, Northfield to Cannon Falls, Cannon River Wilderness Area, southwest of Cannon Falls, south of Dundas to the south of Northfield and near Medford.
