Mostly Sunny, 80-Degree Weekend Ahead

September 14, 2018 08:48 AM

Friday through the weekend may be the final days of summer-like weather this season.

KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said temperatures will rise in to the lower- to mid-80s, which is well above the average temperature at this point in September.

Barlow said Friday is expected to be mostly sunny, although there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the metro area.

Then, Barlow said there will be a slight chance of a thunderstorm overnight Friday into Early Saturday. The threat of an isolated storm reappears Sunday, although Barlow said the weekend will mostly be sunny and humid.
