More rain is on the agenda for the weather in Minnesota Thursday.

KSTP meteorologist Wren Clair says rain will continue to fall through the overnight hours into the day. Through Thursday evening, there will be an active flood watch for most of the state and Wisconsin.

In northwestern Minnesota, some parts will be under a winter weather advisory and a blizzard warning. 2 to 5 inches of snowfall is possible in areas around Fargo, with wind gusts speeding up to 60 miles per hour.

A flood warning is in effect for Lincoln, Pipestone, Cottonwood, Jackson, Nobles and Rock counties until 6 a.m. Thursday.

The high in the Twin Cities will be 41.

Clair says rain will turn into snow late Thursday evening, with winds picking up as well. Friday will only feature a few flurries in the morning, with highs winds.
