Mix of sun and clouds expected Thursday

It'll be another nice day Thursday, the first official full spring day!

KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair says a cold front will track through the state Thursday, but little to no moisture is expected from it.

However, there will be some more clouds, and winds will be breezy from 5-15 mph, especially later in the day.

High temps will crawl closer to 50, with the expected high for the Twin Cities to be about 48 degrees.

Clair says high pressure will build across the area into Friday, bringing back more sunshine and chances to get above 50 this weekend. With those 50s, some rain is expected.

More spring flooding coverage

Clair says river flooding concerns will continue as we head into the weekend and next week, though.
