KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan forecasts a sticky and hot Sunday with an excessive heat watch that will last all the way through the beginning of the week. 

Temperatures will peak at 91 degrees today with a head index in the mid to high 90s.

With the humidity comes a chance for storms mostly in the early afternoon. While the metro has a small chance for storms the Brainerd lakes has a much higher risk.
