Sunny, Mild Saturday after Stormy Friday

After a stormy Friday, those in the Twin Cities can expect a mostly sunny weekend.

KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s Saturday and there will be a slight breeze.

Saturday night, Yuhas said the low is expected to be 64 degrees, making for a cool and mild evening. He added there might be the chance for some patchy fog.

Then, Yuhas said Sunday is expected to be sunny to partly cloudy, with temperatures in the mid-80s.

Around Town: A Look at This Weekend's Events

Interested in heading to the lakes? Yuhas said water temperatures around Minnesota lakes range from 79 to 83 degrees in the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota including Fairmont and Mankato.

He said to expect water temperatures of 77 to 81 degrees in central Minnesota including Alexandria, Brainerd, Bay Lake and Mille Lacs. Water temperatures between 72 and 76 degrees are in northern Minnesota, including Lake of the Woods, Ely and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Temperatures along the north shore of Lake Superior from Duluth to Grand Marais range from 48 to 58 degrees, Yuhas said.
