More snow is heading towards the Metro on Sunday.

KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan says about 2 to 4 inches of snowfall is expected in the Twin Cities. Ryan said it will be a "very light snowfall," rather than the heavy kind Minnesotans have seen recently.

The snowfall is projected to begin around 11 a.m. and last through the evening hours, according to Ryan. The larger amount of snowfall is expected to fall Monday night heading into Tuesday. Ryan mentions that the evening commute Monday and morning commute Tuesday will greatly affect everyone involved.

Between Monday and Tuesday, 6 to 10 inches is expected to fall in the Twin Cities. 5 to 8 inches of snow could fall in central Minnesota, with the western part of the state projected for 2 to 5 inches of snow.
