Hot, Humid Saturday Ahead

May 25, 2018 10:31 PM

Minnesotans can expect this holiday weekend to be a scorcher, according to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.

Yuhas said Saturday is expected to be hot, humid and hazy. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 90s.

And it's only expected to get warmer, he said.

Temperatures on Sunday could reach the mid-90s. Yuhas said the record set for this time of year is 95 degrees, which was set in 1969.

More sun and warm weather is expected Monday, with temperatures in the low 90s. Yuhas said there is a slight chance for thunderstorms Monday night.
