The heat and humidity will hang around Friday, and through the weekend as well.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said the high Friday will be 82 degrees, and dew points in the Twin Cities could reach the mid-to-upper 60s.

The area could see light showers in the morning, but as the storms lift northward, partly sunny skies will emerge.
