Frigid temperatures continue Sunday

Temperatures will remain frigid into Monday with highs in the single digits.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, temperatures will peak at nine degrees Sunday afternoon with wind chills staying in the negative 10 to 15-degree range. The low temperature overnight will get down to negative three degrees with wind chills in the negative 15 to 25-degree range.

The cold is expected to continue on Monday with temperatures just rising into the double digits, a high of 12 degrees is forecast. However Monday will bring some sun and lighter winds which should keep the day a bit more mild than the weekend. 

Temperatures will rise after Monday with the forecast calling for 30 degree and above highs from Wednesday all the way through Saturday.
