Areas of freezing drizzle and freezing fog resulted in slick spots and patchy areas of black ice on roads across parts of Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin Monday morning.
KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan reports the light freezing precipitation was expected to continue across eastern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin through much of the afternoon.
Those traveling in those areas are urged to use caution.
The high in the Twin Cities is expected to reach 34 degrees Monday and conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy.
