Early storms set up a hot Thursday

Updated: July 17, 2019 10:28 PM

Following some thunderstorms in the northern and southern portions of the state on Wednesday, Thursday morning could potentially begin with some severe weather of its own, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Storms brewing from North Dakota could make their way into Minnesota by 6 a.m. or earlier Thursday morning, at which point temperatures will be in the mid-70s. Storms could clear out of the metro for most of the day otherwise.
