Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely Monday, with temperatures in the 70s.

Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said the rain was expected to continue through Monday into Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a fog advisory was expected to remain in effect until 9 a.m. for several counties.

Looking ahead, Yuhas said cooler conditions are expected Wednesday and Thursday before temperatures are expected to increase during the weekend.
