Minnesotans across the state will finally see a chance for thunderstorms on Tuesday.
A small chance for some morning showers will turn into a bigger chance later in the day, according to KSTP meteorologist Wren Clair.
The high will be 83 degrees.
Clair said most of the showers in the morning hours will affect the northwest portion of the state. Later in the afternoon, the metro will see possible downpours, but Clair says the chance of severe weather is very low. The precipitation will move out of the Twin Cities and into western Wisconsin by around 8 p.m.
Wednesday will offer another small chance of storms, but the rest of the week will be dry with temperatures in the mid-80s.
