Cool start with a mild finish on Wednesday

A nice mixture of temperatures is expected Wednesday.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said the morning commute will be in the low 60s, but more milder temperatures are expected to creep up into the high 70s by the end of the day.

Dahl says the high will be 78.

On Thursday, Dahl said it will be a "perfect Thursday" for opening day of the Minnesota State Fair. Highs will be in the mid-70s.

Heading into Friday and the weekend, temperatures will remain in the high 70s and low 80s with some scattered showers popping up over Saturday and Sunday.
