A cold Friday looks likely for the Twin Cities, with an even colder weekend to follow.
That's the word from KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, who said the high Friday is likely to be 14 degrees, while temperatures could drop to as low as -2 overnight into Saturday.
Areas from Mankato and Albert Lea south into Iowa could see around three inches of snow Friday. But only a dusting is expected in the Twin Cities.
The high Saturday is expected to be 10 degrees with a low of -3. The high is again expected to reach only 10 on Sunday.
Then around 1 or 2 inches of snow are expected in the Twin Cities beginning Monday.
