Chilly day expected in the Twin Cities Friday

Minnesotans can expect a chilly commute Friday morning, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl. 

Dahl said temperatures are expected to hover right above 0 degrees at 6 a.m. By the afternoon, temperatures are expected to reach the 20s.

Dahl said areas in northern Minnesota are expected to see temperatures in the teens.

He added there is a chance for some flurries in the metro during the day. 

A sunny day is expected Saturday, however, the chilly weather will stick around, Dahl said. 

Temperatures on Saturday are only expected to reach a high of 18 degrees in the Twin Cities, according to Dahl.
