Chances for snow each of the next few days, slower commutes likely

There's good and bad news in the forecast for the next few days, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

The good news is temperatures are expected to rise into the mid to upper 30s Wednesday through Friday. The bad news is snow, rain and/or sleet are likely all three days.

Dahl said conditions will get sloppy with the first batch of rain, sleet and snow expected to develop late Tuesday night into Wednesday. That trend is expected to continue throughout the next few days, and both morning and evening commutes are likely to be impacted.

More specific timing of each event is still difficult to pin down, as is the total amount of precipitation from each event, but Dahl said you can expect to shovel your driveway at least a couple times this week. Make sure to keep checking back with KSTP for the latest details and forecasts for each event over the next few days.
