'Brutal cold' expected Tuesday

Minnesotans will want to bundle up when leaving the home Tuesday, according to KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair.

Clair says "brutal cold" can be expected through Wednesday.

Because of winds, the National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for portions of central and northern Minnesota. The warning is in effect until noon.

Temperatures during the day will only reach a high of 4 degrees. 

Moving into Wednesday, temperatures are expected to only reach 1 degree. 

Clair says warmer weather will return Thursday, reaching a high of 25 degrees.
