WB I-694 Lanes in White Bear Lake Reopen after Overturned Semi Cleared

August 16, 2018 08:01 AM

All westbound lanes in a section of Interstate 694 were reopened Thursday morning after crews cleared an overturned semi truck.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation reported the lanes near Highway 36 reopened at about 8 a.m.

Earlier, KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the semi was on its side near McKnight Road.

A KSTP crew at the scene reported tow trucks were in the area.

Just before 8 a.m., crews were able to return the semi to an upright position.

Smith said delays could continue along westbound Highway 36, westbound Interstate 94, and northbound highways 61 and 52.
