Two men were taken to the hospital with injuries following a motorcycle collision in western Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said in a release Thursday that a Cochrane-Fountain City school bus was stopped in the southbound lane of State Highway 35 about 3:45 p.m. in the town of Buffalo with its stop arm extended.

At the same time, a northbound 2017 Harley Davidson driven by a 76-year-old Hager City, Wisconsin, man was slowing for the bus when it was struck by a 2016 Harley Davidson three-wheel bike driven by a 78-year-old Ellsworth, Wisconsin, man who had failed to slow or stop, the release says.

The crash did not contact the bus, and no one associated with the bus was injured.

The motorcyclists' injuries were not expected to be life threatening, the release says.
